The full GAMSAT Prep Course
has been designed to incorporate a range of modules that can be taken
individually or as a collective. The content is broken down as follows:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Verbal Reasoning and Written Communication
- Maths for Science
The science-based modules are ideally suited for
those with an arts or humanities background at A level and beyond, or those
with a scientific background but rusty or not involved in its study for some
time.
The Verbal Reasoning and Written Communication module is popular with students
of all backgrounds as it helps to:
- define the appropriate guidelines necessary for
the two pieces of writing required in section
II of the test.
- define approaches including reading for tone, logical
reasoning, critical and analytical thinking
that provide the foundation for success in Section
I.
Maths for Science helps to remove and demystify some of
the barriers that are commonplace regarding use
of simple equations
and application. In common with much that is written these
days, even some of the most academically qualified
non-scientists
that we teach can experience unnecessary reticence in this
area.
All courses are taught at weekends and located at Imperial College in South Kensignton, London.
